The next two weeks of school we be somewhat of torture. I have so many tests. In science I have a Chemistry Test. Then there's social studies, with the Civil War Test. After that I have two District Assessments in Math and French. AHHHHHHH! To many tests. At least non of the test are on the same day. I shall keep you updated on the test once I finished all of them. So look into the next blog post to probabely find out how I did.
The Giver
Again, I know it may be a little late but I thought my blog readers want to see my Giver Response.
It is true that The Giver is a very hard novel to turn into a theatrical performance. There were many scene that truly are very hard. One scene in particular would be the apple scene. In the play they are pretending to throwing a fake apple across the stage. Then when Jonas was just about to catch the apple he sees something and the fake, imaginative apple falls down and turn into imaginative apple sauce. That was really cheesy. Personally it would have been much better if they used a projector. The projector would help enhance the moment because it could actually project the apple turning into the apple sauce or a matter of fact the color red. He other thing that made the play confusing was the changing of character. The one person that really confused me was the red headed girl who was Lily and Fiona. You almost never knew if she was Lily or Fiona. All they needed to do was get another person to act as Fiona and it would have been fine. In conclusion, if they used more item or props during play or even used more people the play would have been stupendous.

Jurassic Park
I know it is been a long time since I did the Jurassic Park responses, but I thought you may want to see what I wrote about Jurassic Park. Here are the questions I answered.
1. How did the music contribute to the mood and suspense of the story?
Music may not seem important in the story but it is a key in scaring the ants out of your pants. The music really dramatizes the move so that it creates a more of a tenser scene when it is starting to get ugly. Also it helps creates more suspense. One example of this is whenever the T-Rex is coming there is a booming sound in the background foreshadowing the event of a major attack. Therefore without music and suspense in the movie the movie would be an EPIC FAIL.
2. If you believe the story is a tragedy, then explain Dennis Nedry’s tragic flaw and the tragic fall that follows because of it.
Dennis Nedry, an overweight nerd about computer has a major tragic flaw. His tragic flaw is his overconfidence. His overconfidence pretty much leads him to his tragic fall which is dying. You may be asking why over confidence is his tragic flaw just think about it. He thinks that with ease he can hack the system, take the egg supplies, and run away. News flash Dennis this is Jurassic Park, and you just off the system that keeps you safe, and you want to just drive away. If I could just say one thing, you are plain old dumb. In conclusion, the flaw that Dennis has which is overconfidence, leads him to his death against a raptor, which he let in to his path by turning off the security system.
1. During the tour of the facility, Ian Malcolm comments that “Life finds a way.” What does he mean? How does this foreshadow events that occur later?
Life finds a way, might be a simple saying but actually comes through in the movie. To me life finds a way means that the life of that egg will finds its way. This event foreshadows a few main events. One event is when the eggs hatch which happens when water helps make it grow. Therefore life has found its way. Also when they overcome Jurassic Park by going off the island, once again life finds a way. In conclusion, the comment “Life finds a way” by Ian Malcolm is an awesome comment that foreshadows many great events.

This past weeekend I had a party for my birthday that was two weeks back. The people that I invited were Jacob Stern, Bailey Zimmerly, Tyler Stanczak, and Kyle Gloss. First we played Wii for for one hour. Then we got our food, which was Buffalo Wild Wings, Pizza Hut, and a party sub from Jimmy Johns. Even though we were still suppose to play wii, we actually watched TV and stated wrestling. That was pretty strange. The other thing was that their was a tornado watch on that day. The rest of that day for me is a really big mystery.

Once upon a time there was a little kid named Butch Jr. Butch Junior was always getting bullied by his mean old brother Butch Sr. Whenever poor little Butch Junior came how he would always have bruises from his fight with Butch Sr. One day Butch Senior was really upset at Butch Junior that he had to be in a wheel chair for 10 years. After that fight, Butch Senior was so upset that he never bullied anyone again.
